The contrast on this wave was so striking with colors one may not first think of as a classic ocean. The oranges are streaming through the crest of the wave from the sunset behind. The only highlight and the depth of the water are by the dark green contrasts. A New England native, I remember the port waters of my childhood being this dark beer bottle green that felt deep and cold even in shallow waters on the hottest summer days. The warm sun is in contrast with ocean green in this unique wave break.
